Nadine Kunz *1990, lives and works in Bern. Studied contemporary dance in Berlin, BA Fine Arts in Bern and Tel Aviv and MA in Art Education at HKB in Bern.
In my artistic work I often draw on a physical memory and explore the tensions between body and space and their relationship to each other. An elusive state manifests itself in my works; a state of being hollowed, a process of unfolding or stringing together possibilities. Spaces are opened up or marked. I work in multimedia (photography, digital, video, performance, drawing, text). I often develop several works in parallel, so that the works are in a constant dialog and mutually advance each other. An oscillation between conceptual and intuitive approaches characterizes my working method. Most recent works focus in particular on the theme of the in-between space: a constant meandering in the in-between and a search for what opens up in this in-between.
