I consider my artistic work as a cooperation between body,
space and time. These elements are the base of every
situation I deal with artistically.
My practice in dance, performance and
movement research offers me an important source of
inspiration throughout my artistic confrontation.
I see the physical practice as a laboratory which allows me
to experiment, to ask questions, to understand
how my body and my perception are functioning.
I use this experience in direct or indirect ways
concerning my artistic practice.
Until now i have been working a lot through the
medium of video, still image, photography and text. My
works are mostly performative, installative
and sculptural.
I am looking for a possibility to open
new spaces. Actual spaces and mental spaces.
Through my work i want to share questions and thoughts.
Mindsets and point of views. I want to evoke new ways
of thinking, play with common perspectives and perseptions.
I want to create work that poses questions.
Questions towards myself, questions towards you,
towards us. Questions towards everything else.
I want to create work that opens up -
up to a feeling of endlessness and undefined signes
